1968 Gold Medalist won the 200m in 19.83s

The above image shows Tommie smith in the centre and John Carlos to the right showing the black power salute in 1968 Summer Olympics with silver medalist Peter Norman on the left.

I think its interesting how this salute for the photograph is now a recognised symbol and is still featured today. Below shows pumas trainers dedicated to the symbol and Tommie Smith. Internationally recognised.

Paul Klee- Swiss painter of German Nationality. Mastered colour theory. Taught at the Bauhaus in Germany. Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism.

Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe- German-American architect. Clarity and simplicity. Modern materials.

I really like the logo for IBM. The i represents an eye, the b a bee but has kept the M the same to back the identity of IBM. Very good new idea to represent the company.

I like the way they have taken the form of the number 8 to manipulate into the letters that spell eight.

On the left hand side i like the way the u and n make up the s and the way it is layed out to created the word sun but represented the microwave product of a fan.

As Skinny Jeans were popular this summer Praveen Design skinny bags for them this communicated the idea of the shape of the jeans but also added identity to Lee fashion group. I Like the design because it is something different to normal bags but also relates to the idea of the product.

The logo is now world wide recognised the first image is the logo being used now however like the image below it has been recreated using fruit but the consumer will still understand what the shape is meant to be communicating.

The message that was meant to be communicated was solid ideas and was shown using a light bulb represented the bright ideas and the concrete to show the solid and consistency of the design group.

The signs are made to be as simple as possible but to communicate the difference between the mens and ladies toilets. This is communicated using a triangle shape to represent a dress for ladies.

I think their style reflects their influence of graffiti and both go hand in hand. The style is young clean and visually attractive.

I like the way he uses the composition and layout of hand drawn type to represent land marks.

As well as working for Totally London he has also worked for fashion, publishing, film and TV.

This is interesting to look at to see whether you can recognize any of the buildings.

Found this on a website i thought that this looked visually appealing and is good to experiment with photography or even colour.
