Danny Yount

Danny Yount
Australia
Graphic Designer
Danny uses motion graphic to help create intros/credits for films. He uses moving type and image together to communicate. I really like his work and it inspires me to try out some moving image/type. Some of the films his work includes are:
  • RocknRolla
  • Iron Man
  • Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
  • House of wax
  • And Mtv

Perception Without Awareness
I find this interesting as a Graphic Designer trying to communicate a message across to an audience using PWA without subconsciously not knowing. Leaving clues

RocknRolla

Guy Ritchie
Film Writer/Producer/Director
Hartfordshire
Again i am interesting in the culture of the films Guy Ritchie makes i enjoy the cockney language and slang and the old fashioned film style produced on.
I really enjoy the type used for the Credits near the end of this video.
The credits are created by Danny Yount.

Shane Meadows

Shane Meadows
Nottingham
Film Maker/Director
I find Shane Meadows films really interesting, because of the old 70's culture he bases most of his work on. As i never got the chance to experience the culture of the 70's His films give me the closet visual of the movement.

World War 2
USA
This was a method i discovered when doing a project based on Duplicate. In WW2 American soldiers used to write a letter to be sent home but they used to make a smaller duplicate of the original to save space on the plane. When back in USA the receiver had to make a larger duplicate so they could read the letter.
This was something new i had learned so i thought it would be good to base my project on this to share this knowledge with the rest of my class.
